A Step-By-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Rara-Avis Add-Ons

Extract Files

Use a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the contents of the downloaded ZIP or RAR files. Make sure to extract the files directly into the Community folder without creating additional subfolders to avoid errors.

Launch MSFS 2020/2024

After placing the add-on in the Community folder, restart Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024. The new content should now be available in the game.

Note: Some stores may have a executable installer

  1. Find the downloaded file — it will look like this: ras-zippysport.exe.

  2. Double-click the file to run it.  If Windows asks for permission, click Yes.

  3. The installer will ask where you want to install the aircraft.  This needs to be your MSFS Community folder.

  4. Click Install and wait for the progress bar to complete.

  5. Launch MSFS, go to the Aircraft selection menu, and your aircraft should now appear.
